Science Habitat Glogsters

The students have been working hard researching habitats to put on a Glogster webpage. They are complete, and ready to be shared! You can check them out at home by going to our kid blog website, http://kidblog.org/MsBudzsClass/ . You can tell which one is yours by looking at the initials of the student who posted the message.

Students enjoyed using technology to share what they learned. We will get together in the new year to go over how they did and how they can improve for next term by marking the Glogs together.

Friday's Quizzes

Students have been studying hard for their Social Studies and Science quizzes coming up on Friday. Students have been given reviews which we've been working on in class to study from.

School Days Off

Thursday, November 10th is a half day. There is no school on Friday, November 11 and Monday, November 14.

Remembrance Day Ceremony

There will be a Remembrance Day ceremony at Yorkdale in the ym at 1:15 on Wednesday.

Harvest Showdown Tomorrow

Tomorrow our class will be accompanying other Yorkdale classrooms to participate in the Harvest Showdown. A note was sent home with the students about a week ago with information about this event. The students will be learning about the importance of agriculture in Saskatchewan. The day will be set up in stationed activities and our classroom will be divided in half - one to join Mrs. Kulscar's and one to join Mrs. Hick's classroom.

An important note - there was an announcement made today that if classes are cancelled tomorrow due to the odor in the school then the Harvest Showdown will also be cancelled.
